Pitch Script

Pitch Script
Our initial ideas for our music video were:
·         Young teenage girl as the main character, also to appear to be the artist.
·         Film in London as it is a very recognisable place, we want to film in Leicester Square as that is where all the major premieres are held and a lot of famous people are seen there.
·         The outline of our video is that the character does not want to be dragged into all the infamous qualities of show business like the lyrics in the song suggest.
·         We will be juxtaposing the two ideas of being famous and not being famous, such as the use of money and a fur coat that symbolises being rich and wealthy, and then not being famous her turning up to a premier and no one being there and even the paparazzi not taking any notice of her.
·         We also want to keep Lily Allen’s kooky style of her already existing videos and her  fashion style in our video so we will be using props and costumes you may not see normally in a music video but because of our genre and use of artist we can use these as our target audience will recognise the frank use of the props as they are seen in so many of her other music videos.

Costumes

I made this moodboard to show the different styles of Lily Allen. It's obvious she wears a lot of jewellery and accessories which we will include in our music video to stick to the correct theme. We are also including bright colours which are signature to Lily's fashion sense. She mainly wears little summer dresses and has had vibrant hair in the past, which is the look we are going to use. Here's a few examples of what pictures have influenced our costume decisions for our music video:
